We just love showing off our animals
And they love the attention too! Enjoy a guided tour of the smallholding, meet the animals and learn a bit too! Pork, bacon and sausages, lamb and chicken can be purchased off the farm for that delicious home reared taste. Breakfast packs of eggs, sausages and bacon can be purchased on arrival or ordered in advance.

Visit our own nature reserve
Relax at the edge of our beautifully restored pond which has an abundance of wildlife. You can sit and enjoy watching the ducks, moorhens, Canada geese, dragonflies and numerous other creatures going about their daily business.
At Hendra we actively encourage recycling
We provide separate bins for glass, paper, cans and plastic. We have an army of hungry animals and chicken which will happily devour most food scraps, and the garden composter will receive the inedible items such as teabags and fruit skins. We are commited to environmental stewardship.
Senara is an avid gardener
The fruits of her labour can often be purchased during the summer months. Delicious fruit and vegetables such as nectarines, peaches, broccoli, tomatoes and courgettes are just some of the produce that grows abundantly in the polytunnel and vegetable patch on the farm. There are always fresh free range eggs from our own chicken available – happily recycled from all those food scraps.
