At Hendra Farm there are plenty of things to enjoy around the farm...

...and excellent facilities exclusively available to all our cottages
There's the luxury sized jacuzzi and sauna available for your private use, a barbecue for that delicious lunch or dinner in the sun and fabulous views of the surrounding countryside to enjoy. Every cottage has its own picnic table, with further tables located around the beautiful, well tended gardens. For the occasional rainy day or quiet night in, there is a good choice of books and board games available. If you need to check email, WIFI is now available in the laundry room.

   We just love showing off our animals...

and they love the attention too! Enjoy a guided tour of the smallholding, meet the animals and learn a bit too! Pork, bacon and sausages, lamb and chicken can be purchased off the farm for that delicious home reared taste. Breakfast packs of eggs, sausages and bacon can be purchased on arrival or ordered in advance.

The 24 hour laundry room is central to all the cottages
and is fully equipped for your convenience, with washing machines and a tumble drier (£1 coins required), plus irons, ironing boards and washing baskets. There is also a commercial drier for large amounts of wet clothing i.e. walker’s coats, boots and the like, which is available upon request. An extensive range of tourist information literature, maps and a visitors' notice board are also on display, as well as deck chairs which are available for all to use.

Visitors are most welcome to visit our own ‘nature reserve’
a beautifully restored pond which has an abundance of wildlife visiting it daily. You can sit and enjoy watching the ducks, moorhens, Canada geese, dragonflies and numerous other creatures going about their daily business.

At Hendra we actively encourage recycling
and separate bins for glass, paper, cans and plastic are provided in the laundry room. We have an army of hungry animals and chicken which will happily devour most food scraps, and the garden composter will receive the inedible teabags, fruit skins etc.!

Senara is an avid gardener
and the fruits of her labour can often be purchased during the summer months. Delicious fruit and vegetables such as nectarines, peaches, broccoli, tomatoes and courgettes are just some of the produce that grows abundantly in the polytunnel and vegetable patch on the farm. There are, of course, always fresh free range eggs from our own chicken available – happily recycled from all those food scraps.
