We operate a traditional smallholding set deep in the South East Cornwall countryside which is home to our magnificent Shire Horses, flocks of Jacob, Zwartble and Herdwick sheep, a herd of delightful and inquisitive alpaca, numerous breeds of chickens and ducks, a dog, several cats, two pairs of rheas and the new additions to the family, wallabies! We take great pride in the well-being and contentment of all our birds and animals, and the farm is known throughout the region for its reputation in breeding top class stock and for producing many successes in the show ring. We also run a thriving poultry business providing quality birds, and a first class service, to our customers across Devon and Cornwall.
We want to share our passion with our guests and have recently started offering day and residential smallholding courses where we can impart our years of experience and knowledge in the art of animal husbandry, land management, self sufficiency and the farming lifestyle. The courses we run are always tailored around your particular interests, so come and join us in living the ' good life' on a proper Cornish farm!
